*SUSIE STRONG*…

Winchester Cathedral Hampshire, EnglandWinchester Cathedral   Winchester, Hampshire, England

What better way to end the day than to sit in solitude in one of the greatest churches of England, dated from 1079, and reflect on words penned by Emily Bronte:

“No coward soul is mine,

No trembler in the world’s storm-troubled sphere:

I see Heaven’s glories shine,

And faith shines equal, arming me from fear.”

    1. Thanks, J. Yes, cast off hand and doing well. More drawings sketched and I’m ready to head back into my studio to begin serious work….right! I say laughing. Thank you kindly for the drop-by in spite of your busy schedule and working on your new site. See you Friday at the unveiling!! R.

      1. I wanted to write a Susie Strong post, but didn’t have enough time to do it well enough for my liking. I settled for lots of likes and comments on the Susie posts of others.
Times like these I wish writing wasn’t quite so laborious for me.

        1. Agree. It takes me days to fill the kettle with water, find the fuel to fire up, bring to boil.
Perhaps it’s the “scheme” of things….I should draw a scheme-of-a-thing…..*snort*
